Press Release Regarding the Terrorist Attacks in Chad

We vehemently condemn the suicide attacks which were perpetrated against the security forces in the Chadian capital N'Djamena on 15 June 2015 causing loss of lives and injury of many.
Turkey stands strongly against all kinds of terrorist acts, regardless of its source, origin and motive. We commend the recent efforts of the countries in the region in their fight against terrorism and reiterate our conviction that peace and tranquility will be maintained in the region at the earliest.
While deeply sharing the sorrow of the brotherly Government and people of Chad due to this profoundly saddening and outrageous attacks, we extend our condolences to the bereaved families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.
