Press Release Regarding the Visit of Mr. Jeffrey Feltman, UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs to Turkey

On behalf of United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Mr. Jeffrey Feltman, UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs and an
accompanying delegation will pay a visit to Turkey on 30-31 August, 2016 in order to demonstrate solidarity of the UN after the failed terrorist coup
attempt which targeted the foundations of the Turkish Republic.
Mr. Feltman will hold high-level bilateral meetings and also visit the building of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, heavily damaged in the course
of coup attempt.
During the meetings, in addition to July 15 coup attempt and developments in the aftermath,regional and international issues will also be discussed.

Please note that the visa applications will be accepted in Turkish Service Agency located in Addis Ababa, Snap Plaza ( Address: Africa Avenue, tel: +251 11 666 22 11) on weekdays between 09:00 - 16:00 hours. The Consular Section of the Embassy works by appointment on weekdays between 09:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00 hours.
