H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, will pay an official visit to Japan from 20 to 22 June 2017, upon the invitation of H.E. Fumio Kishida, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

Within the framework of the visit that will be the first one at the Foreign Minister level after 14 years of interval, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu will meet his counterpart Fumio Kishida, Hiroshige Seko, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, and the members of the Japanese-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Group. H.E. Çavuşoğlu will also be received by Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan and deliver a speech under the title “Developments in the Middle East and Turkey’s Role” at Sasakawa Peace Foundation.

During the meetings, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu will discuss bilateral relations, as well as further opportunities for cooperation between Turkey and Japan, and exchange views on regional and international issues.

The Consular Section of the Embassy works by appointment on weekdays between 09:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00 hours.
