We are saddened by the terrorist attacks carried out on 15 August 2017 at a market and at the gates to a refugee camp in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state in north-eastern Nigeria by three suicide bombers claiming many lives and leaving several people injured. We strongly condemn these attacks targeting innocent people and attempting to destabilize the region.

We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives and speedy recovery to those injured.

We wholeheartedly share the grief of brotherly people of Nigeria, reiterate our support to Nigeria in its fight against terrorism and wish peace soon be restored in the region.
