No: 77, 5 May 2024, Regarding the Appointment of Ambassador Mehmet Paçacı as Special Envoy of the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Islamophobia
Ambassador Mehmet Paçacı has been appointed as the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General's Special Envoy on Islamophobia at the 15th Summit of the OIC in Banjul on 4-5 May.
We are confident that Ambassador Paçacı will carry out his duties successfully.
We take this opportunity to reiterate that the international community should adopt a common position and act decisively to combat hatred against Islam.
